What the integration does

COORDINATOR is a coordination workspace with an AI layer that reads across the systems you connect. Connecting Notion lets you bring your notes and pages into that workspace — a game plan, a training log, a set of meeting notes — and send work back out to Notion when you want it there.

Once connected and set up, COORDINATOR can:

• Let you attach a Notion page to a conversation from the paperclip menu.
• Read a page you point it at, including its nested content.
• Export a workspace document back to Notion as a new page, when you choose to.

Connecting Notion takes two steps

This is the part people get stuck on, so it's worth being clear up front.

Authorizing COORDINATOR through Notion's OAuth screen does not by itself give us access to any of your pages. Notion works differently from most integrations: permission isn't granted by scopes at authorization time, it's granted per-page by you, from inside Notion. A freshly connected COORDINATOR can read nothing at all.

That's why the card shows "Connected — finish setup to start using it" in amber after you authorize. The connection exists; it just can't see anything yet. Setup is what fixes that.

How to connect

Step 1 — Authorize

1. Sign in to COORDINATOR.
2. Go to Settings → Integrations.
3. Find Notion under Apps & data sources and select Connect.
4. You'll be sent to Notion to choose a workspace and approve access.
5. Notion returns you to COORDINATOR and the setup window opens automatically.

Step 2 — Confirm your workspace

The setup window shows the Notion workspace you authorized. Confirm it's the right one. This is what tells COORDINATOR which workspace it's working in.

Step 3 — Share a page and paste its link

This is the step that actually grants access.

1. In Notion, open the page you want COORDINATOR to work from. Most people pick a parent page that holds the things they'd want to use — a "Training" page, a project hub, or similar.
2. Select the ··· menu at the top right of that page.
3. Choose Connections, then add COORDINATOR.
4. Copy the page's link.
5. Paste it into the setup window in COORDINATOR and submit.

COORDINATOR immediately tries to open that page with your authorization. If it succeeds, setup is complete and the amber notice disappears. If it fails, you'll be told the page wasn't found — which nearly always means step 3 didn't take. Go back and confirm COORDINATOR appears under that page's Connections menu.

Why a "root" page?

Notion doesn't let an integration search a whole workspace. It only sees what's been shared with it. The page you paste becomes COORDINATOR's anchor: the pages listed for you to attach are the ones nested under it, and exports are created inside it.

Sharing a page shares everything nested inside it, so choosing a parent page high up gives COORDINATOR access to that whole branch. Pick a page that covers what you want available — and equally, keep anything private out of that branch.

What data we receive

The content of pages you've shared with the integration and then chosen to use — titles and page text, including nested blocks. Plus your workspace name and icon, so the card can show which workspace is connected. We do not receive your Notion password, and we cannot see pages you haven't shared with the integration.

Notion data is used to provide the features above, for you. We do not sell it, we do not share it with other COORDINATOR users, and we do not use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for the full terms.

Using it

To attach a page to a chat, open the paperclip menu in the composer, choose Notion, and pick from the pages under your root page. The page is imported as an attachment — its title and content are converted to text.

To have the AI read a page, ask for it by name. It reads the page and the blocks inside it.

To export a workspace document to Notion, use the export action and choose Notion. COORDINATOR creates a new page inside your root page. It does not modify pages you already have and never overwrites them.

How to disconnect

1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
2. On the Notion card, open the menu, select Disconnect, and confirm.

Disconnecting deletes the stored tokens immediately and stops all further access.

Disconnecting doesn't remove us from Notion

Unlike Google Drive, we can't revoke the authorization on Notion's side for you. After disconnecting, COORDINATOR may still be listed in your Notion workspace's connections. To fully revoke it, remove the COORDINATOR connection in Notion — either from a page's ··· → Connections menu, or from your workspace settings under Connections. We recommend doing both.

Pages already imported into COORDINATOR stay in COORDINATOR, and pages COORDINATOR exported stay in Notion. To have imported content deleted on our side, email [email protected] from your account email address.

Common issues

The card still says "finish setup to start using it"

Setup isn't complete. Open the card's menu and choose Configure to reopen the setup window, then work through confirming the workspace and pasting a shared page link.

"Page not found — make sure you've shared it"

The page link is valid but the integration hasn't been added to that page. In Notion, open the page, select ··· → Connections, and add COORDINATOR. Then paste the link again.

The page list is empty or missing pages

Only pages nested under your root page appear. If what you want lives elsewhere in the workspace, either move it under the root page or reconfigure with a root page further up the tree.

A page I just created in Notion isn't listed

Refresh. New pages under an already-shared parent inherit access automatically, but the list is fetched when the picker opens.

An exported page's formatting differs

Export converts a workspace document into Notion blocks. Headings, lists, tables, quotes, and code blocks carry across; unusual layout may simplify. The result is a normal Notion page you can edit freely.

I connected the wrong workspace

Disconnect, remove COORDINATOR from that workspace in Notion, then connect again and choose the right one.

Never send us your Notion password — we will never ask for it.
