Strava integration

What the integration does
COORDINATOR is a coordination workspace with an AI layer that reads across the systems you connect. Connecting Strava lets that layer see your training — your runs, rides, and other activities — so it can answer questions and plan around what you actually did rather than what you meant to do.
Once connected, COORDINATOR can:
- Show your recent Strava activities alongside the rest of your workspace.
- Summarize training load and trends when you ask (for example, "how much did I run this week?").
- Trigger routines you set up yourself — automations that run when a new activity syncs.
The integration is read-only
COORDINATOR reads activity data from Strava. It does not post activities, edit activities, change your Strava settings, follow other athletes, or write anything back to your Strava account.
What data we receive
Only the data covered by the permissions you grant during authorization — activity records and their attributes, such as activity type, start time, duration, distance, pace, elevation, heart rate, power, and calories. We do not receive your Strava password, and we do not receive other athletes' private data.
Strava data is used to provide the features described above, for you. We do not sell it, we do not share it with other COORDINATOR users, and we do not use it to train AI models. It is handled as sensitive health and fitness information under our Privacy Policy.
Connecting Strava is opt-in
Nothing is connected by default, and COORDINATOR receives no Strava data until you explicitly authorize it. The integration is entirely your choice: you opt in when you want it, you can opt out at any time, and you can reconnect later without penalty. COORDINATOR works without Strava connected — you just won't see Strava activities in it.
Authorization happens on Strava's own site, through Strava's OAuth screen. You choose which permissions to grant there, and you can review or revoke that authorization from Strava at any time.
How to connect
- Sign in to COORDINATOR.
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find Strava under Wearables and select Connect.
- You'll be sent to Strava to sign in and review the permissions COORDINATOR is asking for. Approve only what you're comfortable with.
- Strava returns you to COORDINATOR, and the Strava card shows as connected. New activities flow in from that point on.
To bring in activities recorded before you connected, use Sync history on the Strava card. It pulls a window of historical activities and skips anything already imported, so running it more than once is safe.
How to disconnect
You can disconnect at any time, for any reason, without contacting us.
- Go to Settings → Integrations.
- On the Strava card, open the menu and select Disconnect, then confirm.
Disconnecting takes effect immediately. COORDINATOR:
- Revokes the access it was granted and deletes the stored tokens.
- Stops receiving any further Strava data.
- Marks the connection inactive so nothing syncs in the background.
You can also revoke COORDINATOR's access directly from Strava under Settings → My Apps on strava.com. Revoking there has the same effect — COORDINATOR stops receiving data.
To also delete the Strava activity data COORDINATOR already imported, email [email protected] from your account email address and ask us to delete it. See Privacy Policy for the full retention and deletion terms.
Reconnecting
Reconnect whenever you like — the steps are identical to connecting the first time, and there's no waiting period or limit on how often you connect and disconnect. After reconnecting, use Sync history to backfill anything recorded while you were disconnected.
Common sync issues
A new activity hasn't appeared yet
Activities normally arrive within a few minutes of Strava processing them. If one is missing, first confirm it's visible on Strava itself, then use Sync history on the Strava card to pull it in manually.
Older activities are missing
COORDINATOR only starts receiving activities from the moment you connect. Use Sync history to backfill history.
Activities recorded on a watch or another app are delayed
If your activity reaches Strava from another device or service (Garmin, Wahoo, COROS, Zwift, and similar), COORDINATOR can only see it after that upload finishes on Strava's side. Confirm the activity is on Strava first — if it isn't there, the issue is upstream of COORDINATOR.
Private or hidden activities
Activities you've made private, or data hidden by your Strava privacy controls, are only shared with COORDINATOR if the permissions you approved allow it. If you declined the private-activity permission, those activities won't sync — reconnect and approve it if you want them included.
"Reconnect required" on the Strava card
This means Strava is no longer accepting COORDINATOR's access — usually because access was revoked on strava.com, or you changed your Strava password. Select Disconnect, then Connect again to re-authorize.
Data looks wrong or duplicated
COORDINATOR shows what Strava sends and de-duplicates on Strava's activity ID, so re-syncing won't create copies. If a value looks off, check the activity on Strava first — if it's wrong there too, correct it on Strava and re-sync. If it's right on Strava and wrong in COORDINATOR, that's a bug on our side; please report it.
Editing or deleting an activity on Strava
Changes you make on Strava are the source of truth. Run Sync history after editing, or contact us if a deleted activity is still showing in COORDINATOR.
Contact support
Email [email protected]. Write from the email address on your COORDINATOR account so we can find it, and include:
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- The date and type of any activity involved, and whether it appears on strava.com.
- Roughly when you connected Strava, and when you last synced.
Never send us your Strava password or login credentials — we will never ask for them.
