Withings integration

Last updated: August 13, 2026

What the integration does

COORDINATOR is a coordination workspace with an AI layer that reads across the systems you connect. Connecting Withings lets that layer see your body metrics — weight, composition, sleep — so it can track a body-weight goal against real measurements instead of asking you to report them.

Once connected, COORDINATOR can:

  • Show your recent weight, body composition, and sleep alongside the rest of your workspace.
  • Answer questions about trends ("what's my weight done over the last month?", "am I on track for my goal?").
  • Trigger routines you set up yourself — for example, checking in when a weight trend stalls or moves fast.

The integration is read-only

COORDINATOR reads data from Withings. It does not write to your Withings account, change your settings, edit or delete measurements, or add anything to your Withings timeline.

What data we receive

Only what the permissions you grant during authorization cover, across three kinds of record:

  • Body measurements — weight, and depending on your device, body fat, muscle and bone mass, water percentage, and blood pressure.
  • Sleep — sleep periods with duration, stages, and heart rate.
  • Daily summaries — steps and activity totals.

We do not receive your Withings password. Withings data is used to provide the features above, for you. We do not sell it, we do not share it with other COORDINATOR users, and we do not use it to train AI models. It is handled as sensitive health information under our Privacy Policy.

Connecting Withings is opt-in

Nothing is connected by default, and COORDINATOR receives no Withings data until you explicitly authorize it. You opt in when you want it, you can opt out at any time, and you can reconnect later without penalty. COORDINATOR works without Withings connected — you just won't see Withings data in it.

Authorization happens on Withings' own site, through Withings' OAuth screen. You choose what to grant there, and you can review or revoke it from your Withings account at any time.

How to connect

  1. Sign in to COORDINATOR.
  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  3. Find Withings under Wearables and select Connect.
  4. You'll be sent to Withings to sign in and review the permissions COORDINATOR is asking for.
  5. Withings returns you to COORDINATOR and the Withings card shows as connected. New measurements flow in from that point on.

To bring in measurements recorded before you connected, use Sync history on the Withings card. It pulls a window of past records and skips anything already imported, so running it more than once is safe.

How to disconnect

You can disconnect at any time, for any reason, without contacting us.

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. On the Withings card, open the menu and select Disconnect, then confirm.

Disconnecting takes effect immediately. COORDINATOR revokes the access it was granted, deletes the stored tokens, stops receiving any further Withings data, and marks the connection inactive so nothing syncs in the background.

You can also revoke COORDINATOR's access from your Withings account settings. Revoking there has the same effect — COORDINATOR stops receiving data.

To also delete the Withings data COORDINATOR already imported, email [email protected] from your account email address and ask us to delete it. See Privacy Policy for the full retention and deletion terms.

Reconnecting

Reconnect whenever you like — the steps are identical to connecting the first time, with no waiting period and no limit on how often you connect and disconnect. Afterwards, use Sync history to backfill anything recorded while you were disconnected.

Common sync issues

A weigh-in hasn't appeared

The scale has to reach Withings before it can reach us. Withings devices sync over Wi-Fi or when you open the Withings app near them; a scale that's been moved away from Wi-Fi may be holding readings locally. Confirm the measurement is in the Withings app, then use Sync history.

Measurements from another household member appeared

Withings scales assign a reading to whoever they think stepped on, and a mis-assigned reading reaches us as yours. Reassign it in the Withings app, then run Sync history.

Body composition is missing but weight came through

Composition metrics depend on your device model and on Withings having enough information to compute them. If the Withings app doesn't show body fat for a reading, we won't have it either.

Older measurements are missing

COORDINATOR only starts receiving data from the moment you connect. Use Sync history to backfill.

"Reconnect required" on the Withings card

Withings is no longer accepting COORDINATOR's access, usually because access was revoked in your Withings account or you changed your Withings password. Select Disconnect, then Connect again to re-authorize.

Data looks wrong

COORDINATOR shows what Withings sends. Check the value in the Withings app first — if it's wrong there too, the issue is upstream. If it's right in Withings and wrong here, that's a bug on our side; please report it.

Contact support

Email [email protected]. Write from the email address on your COORDINATOR account so we can find it, and include:

  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
  • The date of the measurement involved, and whether it appears in the Withings app.
  • Which Withings device recorded it.

Never send us your Withings password or login credentials — we will never ask for them.
