How COORDINATOR remembers you

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Why COORDINATOR remembers

Advice is only as good as what the advisor knows about you. A generic plan says "run 4 times a week." A plan from someone who knows you says "you always skip Friday runs and your knee flares after back-to-back hard days, so here's a 4-day week that works around both."

COORDINATOR builds that picture over time. It learns from your conversations, your missions, the decisions you make, and the files you add to your Library. It also keeps track of when things were true, so it can tell the difference between your marathon PR from last spring and your fitness today. The longer you use it, the sharper its advice gets.

What COORDINATOR remembers

COORDINATOR sorts what it learns into types:

TypeExample
FactsYou coach a U16 team. Your marathon PR is 3:41.
PreferencesYou'd rather train in the morning.
PatternsYour HRV drops after late games.
Likes & dislikesYou hate treadmill runs.
StyleYou want short, direct answers.
RulesNever schedule anything on Sundays.
BeliefsYou think high mileage matters more than speed work.
How you workYou plan the week on Sunday night.
GoalsBreak 3:30 at the Chicago Marathon.
Self-observationsWhat COORDINATOR has learned about its own role with you, such as how it should work with you.

Memory is built from what you tell COORDINATOR in chat and the files you add to your Library. Data from your connected integrations, such as workouts from a wearable, isn't added to your memory. Your memory isn't shared with anyone unless you share it. See the Share your memory section later in this article.

See what COORDINATOR remembers

  1. In the app's navigation rail, select Model.
  2. COORDINATOR shows your memory as a graph: each point is something it remembers, and the lines show how things connect.
  3. To find something, use Search your memory, or use Filter by type to show one type, such as Goals.
  4. Select any point to see the facts COORDINATOR holds about it.

Correct a memory

There's no way to edit a memory in place. To correct something, do one of the following:

  • Tell COORDINATOR in chat. For example: "My marathon PR is 3:35 now, not 3:41." COORDINATOR records the new information and usually marks the old fact as outdated. If the old fact keeps coming back, remove it on the Model page.
  • Add it yourself. On the Model page, select Add to memory and write the correct information.
  • Remove the wrong memory, then add the right one. See the next section.

Remove a memory

  1. On the Model page, select the point you want COORDINATOR to forget.
  2. Select Remove from memory.
  3. Confirm by selecting Remove.

COORDINATOR forgets that point and every fact connected to it. This can't be undone, so check what's connected before you remove it.

Clear all memory

You can't clear your whole memory from the app. To have it cleared, email [email protected] from the address on your COORDINATOR account and ask us to clear your memory.

For what happens when you delete your whole account, see Your data and privacy.

Export your memory

You can download a copy of your memory as a file.

  1. Go to coordinator.co/settings/persona. This page isn't listed in Settings, so open it from the address.
  2. Under Export your memory, select Export memory.

COORDINATOR downloads your memory as a .zip file.

Share your memory

You can let someone else's COORDINATOR use what yours knows about you, such as letting your coach's COORDINATOR see your training preferences. Sharing is off until you turn it on for a specific person.

Go to Settings → Memory sharing to manage it:

  • Who can access your memory lists everyone you've shared with. Select Share memory to add someone, or Revoke to stop sharing.
  • Shared with you lists people who've shared their memory with you. Select Remove to stop using it.
  • Waiting for you lists invitations you haven't answered yet.
